1. Equipment inspection

These measures ensure the safety and effectiveness of the furnace body during operation.
2. Atmosphere selection
Choose the appropriate gas according to the experimental requirements. For example, nitrogen or hydrogen is often used for metal materials that need to avoid oxidation. Connect the gas bottle to the gas inlet of the furnace body and adjust the gas flow to ensure that the required atmosphere concentration is achieved.
3. Program setting
Enter the heating parameters on the control panel, including the target temperature, heating rate, and holding time. Make sure that these settings meet the heat treatment requirements of the material being processed. Note that the heating rate should be moderate to avoid stress in the material due to excessive temperature difference.
4. Sample loading
When the furnace body is cooled, use a high-temperature resistant crucible or tray to place the sample to be processed in the furnace. The samples should be evenly distributed and avoid contact with each other to ensure uniform heat conduction.
5. Sealing the furnace
After ensuring that the sample is loaded, close the furnace door and check whether the seal is good to prevent gas leakage. Confirm that the locking device is fully locked to prevent the furnace door from accidentally opening during the heating process.
6. Start heating
Start the furnace and observe the temperature curve displayed on the control panel. The furnace will heat up according to the preset program. Pay attention to monitor abnormal conditions during the heating process, such as overheating or unstable atmosphere.
7. Atmosphere monitoring
During the heating process, check the atmosphere state in the furnace regularly. Ensure that the gas flow and concentration remain within the set range. If there is any abnormality, adjust the gas flow in time.
8. Insulation and cooling
After reaching the set temperature, keep it for a period of time to achieve the heat treatment effect. After completion, turn off the heating system and start cooling. The atmosphere in the furnace should continue to be maintained at this stage until the temperature drops to a safe level.
9. Sampling and cleaning
After the temperature drops to a safe range, open the furnace door and carefully remove the sample using high-temperature resistant gloves. Subsequently, clean the residue in the furnace to ensure that the equipment is clean and ready for the next use.
10. Recording and maintenance
Record the data during the operation, including temperature changes, atmosphere conditions, etc., to provide reference for subsequent experiments. Maintain the equipment regularly to ensure its long-term stable operation.
